Technical production coordinator

Flltime, onsite
Entrec

To strengthen our team of technicians in the workshop, we are looking for a hands-on electromechanical production coordinator. Not a manager who directs from a distance, but someone who works alongside the team, rolls up their sleeves and gets things done, whilst ensuring that the work is well organised and carried out to a high standard.

‍

Job description

As a production coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day production process. You’ll combine technical knowledge with organisational skills and people skills.
You’ll be present in the workshop, know what’s going on and ensure the team knows what needs to be done. Where necessary, you’ll get stuck in with mechanical or electrical tasks yourself. For you, ‘lead by example’ isn’t just a slogan – it’s the way you work.

A selection of your responsibilities:

  • You will manage the production team and ensure a clear allocation of tasks
  • You will motivate and support staff and monitor the progress of the work
  • You will actively participate in mechanical and/or electrical work when necessary
  • You will ensure thorough work planning, so that staff have the correct information and materials at their disposal
  • You monitor the quality of the work carried out and intervene when adjustments are needed
  • You maintain an overview of progress and ensure that priorities are clear
  • You ensure good order, tidiness and an organised workplace
  • You constantly consider how work can be carried out more intelligently, efficiently and in a better-organised manner
  • You identify bottlenecks and take the initiative to find practical solutions
  • You act as the link between the work floor and management and report directly to the site manager on day-to-day operations

‍

Profile

  • You have a strong electromechanical or similar technical background.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
  • You have sufficient technical knowledge to carry out mechanical and/or electrical work yourself.
  • You like to keep track of the bigger picture and work in a structured manner.
  • You enjoy being on the shop floor, amongst our staff and machinery.
  • You have an eye for quality and detail, order and tidiness.
  • You are a hands-on team player.
  • You are able to cope well under pressure and possess organisational acumen and the ability to set priorities.
  • You speak Dutch and English very well; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • You are a natural leader: clear, committed and practical.
  • You are keen to critically review processes and suggest improvements.
  • You are down-to-earth, approachable and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

‍

Offer

  • You will take on a role with a high level of responsibility and a significant impact on Entrec’s day-to-day operations.
  • A full-time (40 hours per week), varied and independent role on day shifts (7.00 am – 4.00 pm) within a growing and dynamic company.
  • An immediate permanent contract upon joining.
  • In-house training to get to know our machines and procedures inside out.
  • You’ll be given the freedom to introduce structure, suggest improvements and help build an efficient, high-quality production organisation.
  • You’ll receive an attractive remuneration package in line with your experience and relevant knowledge, along with some interesting fringe benefits.
  • You will join a team of motivated colleagues in an informal working environment with a family-like culture.
  • The role is full-time and is 100% on-site in Hoogstraten. This means you will be close to the team and to day-to-day operations on the shop floor.
