About the Role
As a Service Technician / Installation Engineer, you are primarily responsible for the installation, commissioning and start-up of production lines at customer sites. Depending on the project, you will work independently or as part of a team.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Software Engineers, Mechanical Designers and other technical specialists to ensure that each production line is installed, commissioned and fine-tuned according to the agreed specifications and customer requirements.
This is not a typical 9-to-5 role. You will regularly travel and work abroad. In addition to installation projects, you will also perform service interventions at customer sites, providing technical support whenever required.
Your Profile
- You have a practical, hands-on mindset
- You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
- You have progressed from an internal Mechanical or Electrical Technician role or have equivalent experience
- You have solid mechanical and electrical knowledge
- You have a basic command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- You communicate clearly and professionally
- You work in a structured and organised manner
- Experience with packaging machines, robotics or within the food industry is a strong advantage
