To support our international sales network, we are looking for a driven sales engineer.
Job description
As a sales engineer, you will monitor the market for complete packaging lines. Retrofits will also form part of your portfolio.
A selection of your responsibilities:
Active prospecting.
Supporting and collaborating with our internationally operating sales network.
Developing a consultative sales network: you will travel to (European) customers to establish contacts, generate leads, maintain relationships, carry out site surveys, etc.
You will identify market trends and commercial opportunities within the sector.
You will draw up quotations and prepare cost estimates.
You will follow up on projects and client contacts.
You will attend trade fairs and industry events within the EU to establish new contacts and further strengthen your network.
You will build long-term relationships with clients in the food industry and actively seek out new opportunities.
You will report to the sales manager.
Profile
You have a commercial flair, with a technical affiliation or background.
Knowledge of electronics and/or electromechanics is required.
Experience in B2B sales is an advantage, preferably from the food industry or a related sector.
You are able to work autonomously.
You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.
You hold a Category B driving licence.
You are a positive, determined individual and a hands-on team player.
