About the Role
As a Sales Engineer / Cost Estimator, you will be part of a dynamic team where, together with two colleagues, you are responsible for processing all new customer enquiries.
Together, you develop the most suitable concept, machine or solution that perfectly matches the customer's requirements. You then translate this concept into a detailed 2D layout, taking into account the available floor space and the customer's specific needs.
Once the concept has been finalised, you prepare accurate cost calculations and create a detailed quotation. You present and discuss this proposal with the customer and closely follow up throughout the sales process.
To ensure an efficient quotation process, you continuously maintain and improve our costing tools and develop new calculators based on project evaluations and cost analyses.
In addition to managing ongoing quotations, you ensure that all project information is organised and easy to retrieve. Although you will spend most of your time at our office, occasional customer visits are required to discuss project details.
You will also prepare cost analyses for existing machines and their available options. Based on these analyses, you create quotations for previously developed machines, allowing customers to receive accurate proposals quickly and efficiently.
