Project engineer electrical installations

Fulltime, onsite
TG-Packaging

Job Description

As Electrical Project Manager at TG-Packaging, you will play a central role in our projects involving high-tech, highly automated packaging machines. Together with a team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and technicians, you will be responsible for the complete follow-up of projects with a strong electrical and electrotechnical focus.

From project kick-off through to final delivery, you will be the main point of contact for customers and the technical department. You will coordinate the electrical design, selection of electrical components, electrical cabinet assembly and cabling. You will also monitor programming, electrical integration and mechanical works, including FAT and SAT testing.

You work in a highly organised manner: you help develop the complete technical concept, and accurately document schematics, revisions, technical decisions and project progress, ensuring a complete and accurate project costing and post-calculation.

Who Are You?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related technical field.
  • You are passionate about electrical systems, control panel building, cabling and industrial automation, and have a strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical designs.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, are inventive and can work independently when required.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both internally and externally, and report to management in a structured manner.
  • You are customer-oriented and have an enthusiastic, professional attitude.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
  • You are able to work well under pressure, manage project deadlines and, when necessary, take the lead to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • You are proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office and other technical software tools.
  • You have a valid driving licence (B).

What We Offer

  • A full-time, varied position within a team of motivated colleagues, in an informal working environment with a family-oriented culture.
  • An attractive salary package in line with your experience, including additional benefits, expense allowance and a company car with fuel card.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and the chance to develop your skills within a specialised niche market.
